Helping an Anti-Slip Business Get Found on Google

On September 2, 2026, a third-party referral brought us an SEO project for a local anti-slip specialist. I had a call and found their WordPress site had around 12,000 spam and casino pages. They also told me the site was hard to find on Google when they searched their exact business terms. Our goal is to improve visibility for those searches.

I suggested moving the whole site to Next.js, cleaning it up, and then working on SEO. The site move was one step in the plan, not the result we are measuring.

SEPTEMBER MILESTONE

They gave me the go-ahead on September 10. By September 25, the full site had moved to Next.js and the basic SEO work was done. I am sharing this now so we have a clear starting point before the next stage of SEO. Our website redesign checklist covers related launch checks.

AUGUST SEARCH CONSOLE STARTING POINT

The August Search Console screenshot showed 0 clicks, 111 impressions, and an average position of 24.9. It also showed a 0% click-through rate. An impression means the site appeared in Google results. It does not mean someone visited.

Average position is an average across impressions, not one fixed rank for every business search. Google's Search Console guide explains these metrics.

August Google Search Console baseline showing 0 clicks, 111 impressions, 0% CTR, and 24.9 average position.

This is the baseline, not a before-and-after result. It cannot show yet whether the new site gained visibility or brought in enquiries.

OCTOBER, NOVEMBER, AND DECEMBER

  • October: Work on SEO.
  • November: Collect the data.
  • December 1: I will come back to this post and share the results.

I will compare the new Search Console data with the August starting point and check enquiries separately. Let's see how much we can improve it. No ranking increase, traffic growth, or lead result has been measured yet.

This project came through a third-party referral and is covered by an NDA. I cannot share the client's name or website, so I refer to them only as a local anti-slip specialist. For help with a site cleanup or search plan, explore our SEO services or talk with our team.
